How to Download Your Instagram Data
To use Unfollowly, you need your Instagram data export in JSON format. Go to Instagram Settings, then Privacy and Security, then Download Your Data. Select JSON format and request your download. Instagram will email you when it is ready, usually within a few hours.
Common Questions
Unfollowly processes everything in your browser. We never see your data, store it on servers, or ask for your Instagram password. The ZIP file you upload is analyzed locally using JavaScript and discarded when you close the page. Your privacy is our top priority.
Bug Reports
If you encounter an error while uploading or analyzing your data, please include your browser name and version, the approximate size of your ZIP file, and any error messages you see. Screenshots are very helpful for us to diagnose issues quickly.
